Philosophy of organization:
To express gratittude and support to Macoupin residents serving in all branches of the Military overseas worldwide and to their families. Support is shown by sending care-boxes each month to combat area servicemen and women. Boxes are sent to others in non-combat areas every other month. Support boxes are also sent to specific Bases in the combat areas through contact with chaplains, nurses, firemen, and recovery units. Boxes include requested and needed items that include cool-ties and helmet caps that members make. Quilts of gratitude are presented to those wounded. 'Taking care of our OWN... while we care about them all."
